What is it: Pocket PC with ultra-fast HSDPA, a large built-in keyboard and a 2-megapixel camera
What we think: Small enough for the pocket, yet blisteringly fast Internet access and good for writing emails and other texts

We like:
Fantastic keyboard; super-fast Internet access (where HSDPA is available); relatively pocket-friendly; Bluetooth and Wi-Fi; easily expandable memory; macro lens on camera
We don't like:
Battery might run down quickly; camera lens not protected
You might also need:
microSD cards
CNET UK judgement:
The MDA Vario II continues a long line of handhelds from T-Mobile. This one adds a superb keyboard and ultra-fast HSDPA Internet access into the mix. Considering its overall small size, the MDA Vario II is a hugely capable device
