What is it: Sony's first portable games console
What we think: Sony's slick PSP sets the new standard for portable gaming, but it won't replace your iPod or portable DVD player. Read more about what you can do with it here

"Quite a good piece of kit"
What I like:
Good graphics, screen resolution, internet access.
What I don't like:
PS2/1 game ports shrunk down. Unreactive control system, poor battery life, stupendous load times: 15 seconds to a minute!
Review:
This is really quite a cool, quality product. Do you want quality games, responsive controls, quick loading times and long battery life? If yes, then you've come to the wrong place. It is pretty expensive and doesn't live up to expectations. The problems are above. Only get this if you have too much money.
I have had my PSP for a few months. At first it was good, but after a few days I really noticed the loading times. Most reviews are written when the person has just bought the product, when they haven'y had time to see its flaws. THINK! don't waste your money on this, unless you have thoroughly thought it through. Read my bad points, and if you get a PSP, you will probably see the flaws. This review presents the facts. It is not biased.
Consider a Nintendo DS as well as a PSP, half the price, my preferred console.

Microsoft reportedly at loggerheads with BBC over iPlayer on Xbox Live
We want iPlayer on our Xbox 360, but apparently there isn't much chance of that unless Microsoft decides to allow it on free 'Silver' Xbox Live subscriptions
