Good: new play experiance dual screen tablet pad
Bad: slow updates
Comment: so i brought the Wii u the other day and thought id do a little review. If any one was thinking of getting one don't listen to all the bad hype it has received. It is an amazing machine it hasn't got the power and graphics of the big hitters that are to come but it holds its own with its own style of beauty and unique game play. Its silent as a ghost while and quite small probably a quarter of the size of a 360. The new pad is awesome its basically a tablet which brings features that complement the console nicely. These features make it appealing as a entertainment system much like the new Xbox one in the fact that it does a load more then just play games. There are two draw backs though that i have ran into though. 1 the start up system updates can take ages so if you buy it as a gift its best to do this before giving it away especially if your giving it to a younger more inpatient person and 2 it does take a little while around 5 to 10 seconds to go back to the main menu from games and apps. The only other thing is the lack of defining games out at the moment but with huge titles in the pipeline plus the few that are out already its a good steal at only £260. It has the ability to become my favorite machine once it grows into its full potential.
Good: small and easy to carry
Bad: not a lot jst you can't play d.s games on it
Comment: great item but can't it have the same games as the d.s
plus it's pretty expensive
Good: Just a little bit different when everything else is getting a bit tired.
Bad: A good quality must have launch title
Comment: I have to say that i am really impressed with this piece of kit. It will not be enough for Sony and Microsoft to just improve the graphics capabilities next time around. Good quality pcs are cheaper than ever and mobile phones offer so much more to casual gamers. Innovation is the way forward. Whether or not Nintendo will be supported with appropriate software is another matter, and one which will ultimately decide both the fate of this new console and the company itself.
Good: the huge potential
Bad: micrsoft came up with something far better (smart glass)
Comment: the lack of an enterainment system is maybe the biggest flaw.. hopefully the wii u will be hacked like the wii
Good: hd graphics finally
Bad: big chunky controller
Comment: What people dont realise is ok it may be more powerfull than xbox and ps2 but the two latter are rumored to be releasing their new consoles next year the xbox 720 and ps4 and without doubt they will be multiple times more powerfull and quicker than the new wii u so nintendo are actually still playing catch up, the xbox and ps3 have been out a number of years and only now nintendo can match them, nintendo suck always have and always will
Good: HD, running DX10 (rumoured)
Bad: Dont know the exact specs
Comment: The Wii U should be running DX10 which is a step up from the 360 and PS3 so in theory it will have better HD graphics in comparison to the latter 2, also Nintendo will hopefully have adopted the gamer profile so we Nintendo fans can enjoy the benefits which come with a personal gaming account i.e DLC!
There are sooooo many rumours flying around the net about the nex-gen consoles it is hard to work out wtf is actually fact or fiction, roll on E3 so we can see what the Wii U is all about!
Good: Its like a Dsi And a nintendo wii built in.
Bad: Not enough info about it yet.
Comment: Looking forward to seeing how this goes against the ps3 and Xbox 360.
Comment: is it out? how much is it?
Comment: I've heard it's as powerful as the Xbox 360 and the PS3 the graphics are also astonishing so that should give Sony something to think about- if the PS4 WILL be coming. I can't wait to see how much it's going to cost!
Comment: nintendo , super nintendo , nintendo 64 , nintendo game cube , nintendo wii nintendo wii u are all good for play for youngs kids
