Good: Easy to use, physical interaction means you don't become a couch potato!
Bad: The rate at which it uses up batteries
Comment: This was the family's first venture into games consoles. It's a good price, easy to install and easy to use.
We've not really got beyond the included Wii Sports games which are great for all the family to play.
Have just managed to buy a rechargeable battery pack for the Wiimote which plugs into the Wii's USB - hopefully will help save on the cost of batteries

Good: Design and presentation, intuitive controls, true backward-compatibility
Bad: No DVD/CD playback???
Comment: An excellent product that delivers on all its promises. Never mind the high-def playback of other systems - we don't have the monitor to utilize that. Never mind the overly-complex, finger-numbing controls of the other systems - Nintendo serves up first-rate, hugely enjoyable titles that are intuitve to play. Out of the box, my son, wife and I had a blast with this machine.

Good: Gameplay on Wii is miles above PS3 and Xbox 360, awesome for multiplayer and parties. Also very quiet and quick loading.
Bad: Graphics aren't as good, few games initially available
Comment: I haven't had this much fun with a console for ages. After sticking to PC games for many years now, the Wii finally offers a reason to buy a console. Multiplayer needs to be experienced to be appreciated.

Good: Fun!
Bad: Everywhere is sold out!
Comment: Back in the old days of Atari and the good ol' shoe box that was the NES it was all about how fun a game was! Did anyone ever play Tetris on their Game Boy for hours on end because the graphics were great? Hell, no! But sometime in the last few years it became all about the graphics. Oh dear. A great game could be slated by the masses 'cause it didn't look pretty. Well, Nintendo has brought fun back to gaming! And Wii think it's awesome!

Good: Control pad and design of the console
Bad: Nothing but the name
Comment: The Wii might not have the graphical potential of its rivals but Nintendo have stuck to the main idea of gaming consoles... FUN!
I have never been a big fan of Nintendo as when I got the Gamecube I felt like I had been ripped off but this has turned me round.
Obviously Nintendo have done something right to get noticed by their competitors with Sony adding the 6-axis motion controller(some copying going on I think). I think this will be good but at the moment with motion technology, Nintendo are top class.
