Good: community is big
Bad: no blu ray no hdmi controller is bulky xbox live is not free its prone to scratches its crap
Comment: its useless rather have ps3
Good: Sleek and slim. Easy to connect with kinect. hard to hear noisy cooling fan. Has a great selection of games. Great Online Service
Bad: Prone to scratches and fingerprints. No HDMI? Pay to play with friends?
Comment: The Xbox 360 S which I have now had for 3 Months has not let me down and is overall a magnificent console. It has a variety of games and it has an easy user interface. I was surprised how it came with everything including a headset/ mic, but not a HDMI. I bought the 250GB with Kinect and have had great fun with this brilliantly made Microsoft console. The On-line Service is great with the downside that you have to pay for it. I would consider to any person who has never owned a console, an intense/ hardcore gamer or just a casual gamer. This console will not let you down.
Bad: HUGE FAN
Comment: I REALLY REALLY REALLY want one!
Bad: the gloss finish thats why ps3 ditched the gloss look and went for matte finish
Comment: i have the elite was going to go for new 1 with it being smaller but whats the point in paying over the odds for summert smaller and bulit in wireless no point wen i use the ethernet cable plus ya can buy a second hand wirless adaptor for 30 quid
Good: built in wifi, 250GB, silent fan, sleek design
Bad: power and eject buttons, gets fingerprint marks and scratches easily
Comment: Originally, I was going to buy the elite and a matching wireless adapter, but when my brother showed me the first video of the new slim, my jaw dropped. It just so happened that it was to come out the same week as my birthday. Now, almost 6 months later, my brother's evil chihuahua chewed through the headset that came with the console, a replacement one, my brother's and my dads. My controller also got it's RB button jammed, no surprise with the cheap material xbox uses for their controllers, my xbox has more scratches than i can count, even though the reflective surface hides them, and occasionally, the power box, which still is bulky, makes a loud whirring noise. All in all, a lot of great features, but still a lot of problems (not counting the headset thing)
Good: Hopefully wont rrod like my sons elite has done, again, for good this time! :(
Comment: Just have to add that the elite's power supply has a fan in it as well so nothing new there!
Good: Built in wi-fi, 250GB HDD, cool design
Bad: No HDMI cable
Comment: Get it for free. Copy this: consoles.freebiejeebies.co.uk/55391
To comment on carls review. Its a marketing ploy. Its supposed to get consumers hooked by saying wow I want that new xbox for christmas. It worked with the PS3 and it will work with the Xbox 360.
Its just to refresh the brand. I personally like the new xbox 360 slim. I dont mind paying a little extra for a better build. Plus there is not as many problems with the new xbox over the old one. That alone sells it for me.
Its alot more quiet, but still not in the league of the PS3. It could also have come with a HDMI cable.
Other than that its a great console!
Good: Built in wifi, 250 GB HDD
Comment: As Carl said you can buy an elite and a wifi adapter for less. The 250GB HDD is good but i never really need all of the space i only ever use about 60 to 70 GB as i delete all of my old items. As far as looks go the elite wins IMO
Good: Exactly, that IS good about it?
Bad: Not "bad", it's just I don't see the point.
Comment: I realy don't see the point in this product.
"It has inbuilt wifi" So? now that this is out the older models have now beed reduced in price! get one of them plus the wifi adapter for £50 less!
"It looks good" No, it looks like its going to be covered in fingerprints, scratches, scuffs and dust within a matter of weeks.
"It has double the memory of the Elite model!" OK, that I can see being an appealing but its so not worth the £70 price differance between the Xbox slim and the xbox pro+wifi adapter
But, each to their own, I suppose. Im not saying "don't buy it" I just don't see why you would
Good: The design is very sleek.
Bad: Paying for xbox live.
Comment: I want it.
