Good: it's not a giant lightbulb like a laptop or tablet

Bad: still not as good as a book.

Comment: Kindle's are amazing but I've noticed a few things - first of all it's too easy to have too many books and skip thru them and not actually read them properly. This can cheapen the overall reading experience. Secondly Kindles don't have the tangible joy of a book.

I'm actually finished with Kindle - and rediscovering the wonder of actually reading a book for real. Try it, it's lovely.

Good: Touch interface is very responsive; navigation is quick and intuitive; simple and uncluttered design.

Bad: Light is blotchy and uneven when turned down in a dark room

Comment: I owned the Paperwhite for about a week before sending it back to Amazon for a refund. In many respects it is a really good product but is let down by the strangely inconsistent screen lighting. The light can sometimes appear coloured or wavy, which is very distracting when you read. It's not a problem in a well-lit room, but then you hardly need the light anyway. Ergonomically, the device is well designed for its primary purpose of reading.

Good: Brightness is not harmful to eyes even at it's brightest, long battery life, can fit in a pocket with a snug, tight fit, everything is amazing!

Bad: If it is in your pocket when you sit down the corners of the ereader poke you, Internet browser isn't very pretty.

Comment: I have only had my Kindle paper white for almost 2 weeks and I am really happy with it. I have a normal kindle in grey, but I do like reviewing products and it's good to used mixed devices and not stick to one thing like apple or kobo or just a regular kindle. I really love this kindle paper white, it has very good sharp text and I'm so happy with the new feature. One thing I don't like is that if you sit down with the ereader in your pocket cross legged then it pokes you. And if you go on Internet browser it isn't pretty, it's like using an olden time computer. But the kindle is all about reading, so I can't complain about that. Anyway, if you are considering buying a kindle, you should get THIS one or the REGULAR GREY kindle because then it's just PERFECT kindle paradise! A must buy for book lovers.

Good: Its from Amazon

Comment: I have a old Kindle Keyboard wifi only for 2 years now and about half my books come from other sources, I just had to download the Kindle friendly .mobi format version of the book. Even if I could not get the .mobi version then there is software you can get for free to convert to .mobi format.

Am getting one of the new paperwhite kindles just don't know when
