Typical price: £30
What is it: Freeview recorder with 160GB hard drive and on-demand video features
What we think: It's got some annoying tics, but some great features and a lovely interface make this is an absolute bargain for customers of BT

"Best thing ever"
What I like:
Easy to use, great price, good on demand content
What I don't like:
Limited Freeview channels
Review:
Got this recently along with the BT home hub / IP phone. Easy install, and gives me most of what I want for free without paying for SKY. The on demand content is good and growing, and for what I want much cheaper than the SkY subscription I used to have. Definitely worth the switch.

This is a truly great DVD player because it ignores DVD region coding -- and does just about everything else, too
