Review:
This product, despite being very expensive when we bought it nearly three years ago, has been constantly unreliable. After the first year it started flashing LOADING and blue light non-stop, wouldn't respond to any buttons. Sent it back to JVC, it was gone for nearly two months, came back supposedly fixed. Then we started getting a lot of DISC ERROR messages, it's now so bad that NO CDs will play at all, and only about one third of the DVDs. Recording was fine until today when it abruptly stopped, to then flash the dreaded LOADING again. We're getting back to JVC as soon as possible, but wonder if it's worth fixing. Such a useless piece of ****, we're royally ticked off. Don't buy it, life's too short for this.

Well-specified and its picture quality is first-rate, but it doesn't quite sound awesome enough to justify its cost
