MKV-playback support; full audio-codec support; appealing design; good menus

USB socket is front-mounted; no analogue 7.1 audio outputs

The LG BD370 is a terrific Blu-ray player. Support for both YouTube and media files like DivX and MPEG-4 plays a huge part in our love for this machine. MKV playback is really the icing on the cake, taking the BD370 from being a good Blu-ray player to a very good all-rounder

Blu-ray players are expensive. Prices may now be around the £200 mark, but that's still more than most people are prepared to spend for what many consider a small boost in performance over DVD players. It appears, however, that LG has realised people aren't keen on spending the extra money, and the company is trying non-standard techniques to entice people to buy one of its Blu-ray players.
