Finally, a Blu-ray player from Sony for everyone to get excited about. This player is relatively quick to load discs, picture performance is superb, and its wonderful menu system and speed at dealing with interactive features make it well worth its bargain price. It's just a shame it took Sony so long to get this player on the market

Sony has had a problem for a while now. Because it's a large company, each division operates in quite a separate environment. For Blu-ray, this has been something of a disaster. On the one hand, you have Sony's computer-entertainment division, which has been pushing the PlayStation 3, with its built-in Blu-ray player.
