Typical price: £1,000
What is it: A high-definition disc player that supports both Blu-ray and HD DVD

We like:
Picture quality; sound quality; dual-format support; ease of use; great connectivity; included HDMI cable
We don't like:
Lack of support for HD DVD features; high price
