The Babel Fish of portable video players -- there are very few codecs that this can't cope with. The mPack's screen is sharper and significantly more vibrant than anything else we've looked at in the world of handhelds. Best of all, there's no need to recompress your video for playback. This is an interesting offering from a relative newcomer to the scene

Our biggest gripe with most portable media players is their cliquey attitude to reading video. Most will only play either WMV files or MP4. WMV is a patchy experience and you'll often have to contend with copyright restrictions. Although MP4 is slightly more forgiving, we resent having to stick to just one or two formats.
