Good: Loads of great features, Big Hard drive (160 GB)
Bad: Reliability
Comment: When I first got this product in May 2006 - I was very pleased with it. As it was cheap and packed full of usefull features.
The dissapointment came around a year ago in June 07, and this was my second Liteon DVD/HDD Recorder as the prevous one broke down and really was a brick and it was the same story here, the dvd drive would NOT prepare any disks for recording and wouldn't finalize propley. The final straw cam when it refuse read most of my recorded TV collection, even if was finalized or not.
This is the last time I will consider a Liteon product as they are BUILT DOWN TO A PRICE. If you are looking for a product you will keep for years and years, turn to a Phillips or Sony as they would be built much better!

Good: Ease of use and massive hard drive.
Bad: Customer Service
Comment: I have now had two of these units. Yes, they are that good however, both of the units I have had have developed a problem after about 13 months. The DVD drive on both stopped working, the first unit was taken back and refunded. I purchased another but again the DVD drive has failed after a little over a year. Received an update from Liteon which didn't work, have been trying to get another response from them for about 9 weeks. Still waiting. Until this fault, I would have rated the product much higher. It is the customer service which is appalling.

Good: Big hard disk, easy to use menus
Bad: Can't find the codes to convert to multi-region
Comment: Good value product, excellent qualty recording from DTV, easy to use.
