Good: Quality of recordings; flexibility of editing.
Bad: Editing and deleting a bit sluggish.
Comment: Overall, good value and pleasing performance.

Good: It was a good price and reviews appeared to rate it quite well
Bad: It continually cuts recording short, it ejects the DVD for no reason and switches itself on and off
Comment: At first I thought I had a good bargain, but once I installed it I realised all was not well. Using either VideoPlus or manual timing the recorder seemed to cut off randomly during the recording. There was no overlap and each time I double and even treble checked but it still didn't work. On top of this the unit kept turning itself off and on at random which of course played havoc with any recording I had set up and even stranger was the fact that the DVD kept ejecting itself. I took it back and changed it for a new one but it's doing the same. I am taking it back and getting my money back.
