What is it: A bedside DAB alarm clock radio
What we think: We're not sure how PURE Digital did it, but the Chronos makes bedside radios glamorous. Decent DAB reception and four independent alarms mean this is a very desirable radio

"I bought a Chronos at the weekend and will be sending it back this week"
What I like:
Looks great and has a good range of alarm settings
What I don't like:
The display is far too bright even on dim setting
Review:
I got it home, set it up and was really pleased with my purchase... but then I went to bed and turned off the light. Despite having the display set to dim, it lit up my bedrooom in a blue glow (casting shadows on the ceiling). There was no way I could get to sleep, so I had to unplug the unit. Sadly I'm reverting to my 20 year old Phillips unit with a simple red LED time display that's easier to read, but doesn't light up the room. So much for progress!
