What is it: A kitchen radio with smart EPG (electronic programming guide)
What we think: A satisfying improvement over its predecessor, it's one of the best portable radios out there. If you want programmed record features and a solid chassis, this is a fierce contender

What I like:
Sound quality good for DAB
What I don't like:
Charge Pak is an extra £30
Review:
Good solid performer. Easy to use, even my wife can 'drive' it. Pity about having to fork out extra dosh for the convenience of true portability. Have to say the recording capabilities are so usefull - and until you have this facility you don't realise how useful it is. Crackin' radio.

Philips AE5200
Great FM performance, but its DAB tuner is weak, so the AE5200 fell short of our expectations
