Cowon A3
The Cowon A3 is the most capable video player we've looked at to date. It has the best screen we have ever seen on any media player. Playback for most videos is smooth and glitch-free and audio quality is close to perfect, supporting multiple codecs, making it a killer for the price

Cowon Q5W
Cowon's Q5W could be Holy Grail of media players -- or more specifically, video players. It boasts unprecedented compatibility with file formats and terrific performance, in addition to many levels of customisation, making it a must-see choice for anyone who demands everything for their video

Cowon iAudio D2 DMB (DAB)
Cowon's iAudio D2 was a fab little MP3 and video player with features bursting from its elegant seams, but the Korean manufacturer has somehow managed to upgrade it by cramming an entire DAB digital radio in

Cowon iAudio 7
High five to Cowon -- its iAudio 7 is a fantastic little MP3 player. It comes in 4GB and 8GB versions, has support for loads of file formats, great sound quality and an outstanding battery life of 60 hours

Cowon iAudio F2
Cowon's iAudio F2 may look more like a mobile phone than an MP3 player but it's a great audio device -- it supports a wide range of file formats, including OGG and FLAC, and the sound quality is impressive. It's just a shame the interface isn't easier to use

Cowon iAudio D2 (4GB)
Cowon's iAudio D2 may not be top of the sales charts but its sleek body, abundance of features and multitude of sound-adjustment options ensure it's a quality compact MP3 player

Cowon iAudio 6 (4GB)
Here's one for the iPod-hating underground -- a 4GB microdrive player with all kinds of features and customisability. It supports subscription audio as well as video and photos and FM recording, and it has a colourful 33mm OLED screen. The touch-sensitive interface takes some getting used to, but the audio quality is superb

Cowon iAudio U3 (2GB)
The U3 features a dazzling, albeit tiny (just 30mm across), colour screen and video playback capabilities -- amazing for a player of this size. It sounds great, too. However, it's only £20 less than a 30GB video iPod and you can't use it with subscription services

Cowon iAudio G2 (1GB)
Cowon has gone down the Shuffle route with this one, a fairly basic but great-sounding device that can play WMA (DRM 9) and OGG files, in addition to MP3s. It's light and good looking, but there's no FM tuner and only USB 1.1 connectivity -- music transfer is yawnsville

Cowon iAudio F1 (1GB)
The uniquely designed Cowon iAudio F1, available at 1GB for around £110, is a flash-based MP3 player that will keep most race car fanatics happy with a host of features that include excellent sound quality, an FM radio/recorder, voice and line-in recording and support for OGG audio files

Cowon iAudio X5 (30GB)
On paper, the 30GB, iPod-size X5 has everything that Apple's ice-white wonder does -- including music playback, a photo viewer and on-the-fly playlists -- then it piles on video playback, an FM radio, voice and line-in recording, and even the ability to read and save images directly from a digital camera. But it doesn't have anything to match iTunes

Cowon iAudio 5 (2GB)
Cowon was wise not to tinker with the formula for its exceptional iAudio 4 flash MP3 player. Its successor, the iAudio 5, adds USB 2.0 support and improved battery life, but otherwise offers the same set of rich features and stellar audio performance
