| Review summary | If you're short on space, or you don't want a stereo system dominating your living room, the iPod Hi-Fi makes a compelling alternative to a full-blown separates system. It's loud, and it's clean-sounding. Fixed stereo speakers like these are always a compromise, but auditioning the Hi-Fi with acoustic tracks proves its mettle Read full review |
Every once in a while a product comes along that makes us drool like a newborn puppy. The Sonos is to home hi-fi what the iPod was to portable music players. We guarantee that anyone who installs a pair of Zoneplayers in their house is unlikely to leave it again Read full review |
With superb sound quality, ridiculously simple setup and a wealth of features to make almost every other streamer bow its head, the Sonos BU150 system excels. It comprises of a ZonePlayer 120 (ZP120), a ZonePlayer 90 (ZP90) and a Sonos Controller, and puts your PC's entire music catalogue -- plus the entire Napster library of 6 million songs -- in any room of your house. Not bad, eh? Read full review |
Easy to set-up, a joy to use and a good-looking unit to boot. There's not much to criticise here apart from the lack of support for DRM-protected music. Most audiophiles will be dealing with higher bit rates than any DRM music comes in at the moment, so for some it may be a moot point. The original ZonePlayer set the standard, the ZP80 steals the show Read full review |
