What is it: 4GB MP3 player with a large, touchscreen interface
What we think: If you can get on with its touchscreen interface, the rewards are plentiful

We like:
Sleek and compact design; lovely, touch-sensitive screen; plenty of features, including video playback, voice recording and FM tuner; handy stylus/kickstand; sound quality is great
We don't like:
Pricier than similarly featured MP3 players; slightly heavy; touchscreen interface won't appeal to all users, specifically active ones
CNET UK judgement:
If you can get on board with the Cowon D2's PDA-like touchscreen interface, the reward is great-sounding audio, a smorgasbord of features and a fantastic battery life
