Typical price: £270
What is it: MP3 player with voice recording, colour interface and FM tuner

We like:
Excellent audio playback and recording quality; vibrant colour interface; strong battery life; decent FM tuner
We don't like:
Slight learning curve; photos load slowly; no simultaneous photo and music playback; controls can be confusing at first; slow start-up; no on-the-go playlist
You might also need:
Full-size headphones; in-line remote control
