We like:
Built-in FM tuner/recorder; voice recorder; excellent sound quality; a wide array of colour choices; removable battery; built-in PIM syncs with Outlook; compatible with subscription-based online music services
We don't like:
Touch-pad navigation won't impress everyone; records voice and FM tuner in WAV format only; no dedicated volume control.
You might also need:
Wired remote control; spare lithium-ion battery.
CNET UK judgement:
The colorful and versatile Zen Micro will make lots of users happy
