Typical price: £300
What is it: Ultracompact 7.2-megapixel digital camera with 76mm touchscreen
What we think: It keeps the better features of the T30, but we're not keen on the touchscreen

"I want to like it, but I don't"
What I like:
Small, easy to carry, Sony
What I don't like:
Dust spot problems, battery door
Review:
It got great reviews so I bought it. Good for outdoor use, but indoor is a nightmare. Lots of (sometimes large) white spots on the images shooting indoors caused by the flash illuminating dust in the air. Ruined some really important shots. The battery door compartment comes open really easy by accident. If I only ever took outdoor pictures, I would be happy enough. But I don't and this camera is not up to it.

Feels more expensive than it is, and its pictures are slightly better than usual for its class
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP8
Not much to look at, but it's actually a very good ultra-compact camera for snapshooters
Samsung PL60
Stylish, practical and pleasing to use. Its pictures aren't bad either, so it's a good buy at this price
