The SX10 offers a slight resolution increase over the old PowerShot S5 IS and a massive jump from a 12x to a 20x zoom. This only brings it up to speed with rival superzooms like the Olympus SP-570, though, and the Canon is otherwise unremarkable except for that maddening Multi Control Dial
