What is it: Feature-packed compact camera with wideangle zoom
What we think: The FX37 combines clever, cutting-edge features with a great 5x zoom

We like:
5x wideangle zoom; Intelligent ISO; Focus Tracking
We don't like:
Small sensor; limited manual control
CNET UK judgement:
What a great little camera -- you get an excellent zoom range, good image quality and innovative focusing, exposure and ISO technologies that really do make a difference to your shots. It might be a snapshot camera rather than a serious photographic tool, but it's much smarter than the average point-and-clicker

Fuss-free compact that takes good photos given the price. Just don't expect too much from it

Good camera, but it's underspecified and overpriced, even compared to other IXUS models

Its lens and image quality aren't great, but it's a good option for beginner photographers
