Typical price: £130
What is it: 12-megapixel budget compact digital camera
What we think: A good lens let down by sluggish speed, poor battery life and missing features

We like:
Decent zoom lens; HD video
We don't like:
Terrible zoom rocker; subpar screen; no optical image stabilisation; terrible battery life
You might also need:
Spare batteries and plenty of them
CNET UK judgement:
Kodak may have set out to make 12 megapixels affordable, but the EasyShare Z1275 is just cheap. A decent lens and HD video capability is hamstrung by a lack of features, slow performance and shocking battery life
