Typical price: £170
What is it: Sleek 8-megapixel compact with Wi-Fi
What we think: Nice idea, but Wi-Fi isn't yet ready to carry such an average camera

We like:
Sleek looks; giant screen; zippy scroll wheel; some well-thought-out Wi-Fi features
We don't like:
Unspectacular lens; public Wi-Fi connection issues
CNET UK judgement:
We're primed to get excited about the camera that cracks Wi-Fi, but the Nikon Coolpix S51c sadly isn't it. An average point-and-shoot with some lens issues, the S51c has some well-implemented wireless features but is let down by the fact that it can't connect very often

Hands-on with the Wi-Fi Nikon Coolpix S51c
The Nikon Coolpix S51c is a slinky, stylish 8-megapixel compact with a giant 76mm LCD screen and the ability to wirelessly connect to t'Internet
