What is it: Stylish 6-megapixel ultracompact camera with 3x optical zoom
What we think: Decent image quality and performance but watch out for image noise at high ISO settings

We like:
Small; responsive; broad feature set for point and shoot; affordable
We don't like:
Blur-reduction features result in excessive noise; generally average image quality; no optical viewfinder
CNET.co.uk judgement:
Although the image quality and performance of the stylish and ultracompact Casio Exilim EX-Z600 are decent for a casual shooter, watch out for image noise at high ISO settings -- it quickly and easily gets out of control, turning pictures into mush
