Typical price: £199
What is it: Ultracompact 6-megapixel digital camera with 3x optical zoom
What we think: It's not very flexible and it's not for low-light shots, but it is still a solid ultracompact camera

We like:
Compact; easy operation; decent image quality
We don't like:
Feels flimsy; noisy at high ISO; few scene modes or manual controls
CNET UK judgement:
It's not very flexible, and it's not for low-light shots, but the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 is still a solid ultracompact camera
