As well as offering high-speed shooting powers, the DSLR-A560 is one of the first digital SLRs in Sony's Alpha range to include high-definition video-recording capability. We've got high hopes for this snapper.

In this review

The Sony Alpha DSLR-A560 is the junior camera in a double act with the DSLR-A580. Packing a number of new features into a redesigned body, they're Sony's first Alpha digital SLRs to shoot video. They're also essentially the same camera, with a few differences in the specs.

The two cameras boast respectable high-speed shooting capabilities, despite their traditional dSLR design. The A560 packs 14.2 megapixels onto its APS-C sensor, while the A580 manages 16.2 megapixels. For more on the A560, click through to our preview of the A580.
