Good: Quality Build (Classy Feel), Outstanding Picture Quality and Easy To Use

Bad: Fairly Expensive

Comment: As a first time DSLR camera user I was extremely impressed by the E-420; the fantastic build of the exterior body and how accesible the exterior connections are e.g. USB, Battery and Memory Card.

The E-420 is a very easy camera to use and if you get stuck or need any tips about taking photo's; the manual is crystal clear for reference and is a good aid.

One of the reasons of buying a DLSR camera is its amazing picture quality; an area where this camera doesn't fail in at all; rather excells out; I was blown away by the vast levels of detail and colour which are incomparable to a digital camera.

The only petty thing I can say about the Olympus E-420 is the price; but I want to reassure readers that there are many deals for the camera and you get it at a good price.

The lens which was included with the camera (14mm-48mm lens) is brilliant; easily attachable and a nice lens to start off with. What is apparent about the Olympus brand of DSLR camera's is the extensive range of lenses availible for the camera; but as a first timer the lens which was included is far then good enough and for anyone else who is starting off with this camera I highly reccomend it.

For me the Olympus E-420 met all my needs and is perfect for me; as a starter I can only stand in awe of its spectacular quality; I strongly reccomend this camera not only to begginers but also to experienced DSLR camera users.
