Good: first and foremost a great sound, remote, beautiful, good price (if you shop around), excellent reception, aux in and stereo out
Bad: large power block, switching between modes (dab-fm-cd-aux) lags, sensitive cd-reading (we've got kids that scratch their stuff)
Comment: Great sound and good looks, that's what counts for me. It's small and retro-looking, but sounds a lot better than my former shiny-black plastic stereo (a Phillips, since you asked).
Overall I'm very satisfied, because those are the things that matter. I was surprised by the power brick that has to be hidden behind the cupboard, and the absence of buttons leading directly to fm, dab, cd or aux - instead you have to press 'mode' and wait, and then press again. Fm and dab reception is excellent, even without putting up the antenna (the Phillips didn't receive that well, and needed a wire antenna behind that same cupboard). CDs play fine, but it's more sensitive to scratches and dirty fingers than your average car cd player - so do keep the cds clean.
We use it as a stereo, not as an alarm clock. It's too good and too beautiful.
