Good: Fits neatly into a corner space
Bad: Flimsy aerial, LCD screen buzzes, disinterested customer service
Comment: Bought this product at Xmas 2007 for a little under £100 - not cheap but expected good quality as i am the proud owner of a Pure Bug. Opened the box and all ideas that it would be made as well as my Bug faded away. Cheap plastic case, the most awful and flimsy cheap piece of wire that is used for an aerial and an LCD screen that buzzes through the speakers continually. Customer services of no use whatsoever. Pure have lost a customer.

Good: Good sound quality, iPod dock, Alarms
Bad: Slightly bad signal in my area, but not too bad; low iPod volume
Comment: When I first read reviews on this, I was doubtful about buying it, because there were a lot of bad comments about the sound quality and an annoying high pitched noise, etc. But I bought it anyway, because it was one of a kind- the only DAB alarm clock radio with an iPod dock, and I knew i could cope with the flaws. But when i switched it on, instead of the awful sound quality I was expecting, there was no problem with the sound at all. I even turned it up to full volume and turned the bass level to its highest, and still no distortion whatsoever.
The rest is also great - the multiple alarms are really useful (even though i only use 2); You can wake up to your own songs on your ipod, the radio, or a really loud alarm beep; the remote is a cool feature- you can browse the tracks on your iPod, or select radio stations etc.; and everything else is perfect, except the signal on some stations is a bit 'off', but not much- and the volume of the iPod is lower than the volume of the radio, so dont switch between the iPod and the radio without checking the volume first!
Overall, the PURE Chronos iDock is a lot better than i expected, and a lot better than the reviews that I have read about it.
