Good: Build, performance and sound quality are all excellent.
Bad: After-sales service.
Comment: I chose this radio as the best available in 2006. I have been disappointed with the after sales service. 2+ years on and out of warranty the LCD display has partially failed. This means all info, retuning, kitchen timer and control of all functions are compromised... it is pretty useless. Having e-mailed Dualit explaining the fault and asking for advice I was instructed to send my 'kettle' to their HQ for engineers to inspect along with warranty details. Dualit tell me that the only repair available is a new mains cable or battery! If your within warranty you'll get a new radio otherwise forget it. I work that out to be a cost of £80 a year to have this radio.
