Good: Used as a Media Server, and EVERYTHING
Bad: Nothing (Optical Drive not needed if it can stream!)
Comment: Amazing, i use this a media server, streaming music and movies to my smart tv! its great, we also use in as a home computer!

Good: You can choose which Monitor you want
Bad: Not been able to play DVD/ CDs
Comment: I have an iMac and since i bought it i have nothing but trouble with the faulty screen. It has been sent away 4 times. The Screen has been replaced 3 times,and i have just got it back and they replaced with a graphics card.They bullied me into to buying the Apple Care Plan, because the 1 year warranty was practically up, I had no choice because i new it would happen again,and it did. Out of warranty to replace the screen would of cost me about £500. I have an old Mac Mini 2007 and it still works has when i bought it. About not playing DVDs/CDs on the new Mac Mini Jonemd said you can play them. I am not sure about getting a super drive with one i will after look that one up. I would rather have the new Mac Mini than this iMac.

Good: Power in such a small space
Bad: No optical drive
Comment: I'm a tester of various operating systems, so I got this as my first ever OSX experiment.
So far, all is good. OSX is a bit different, but i get a linux-ish feel, so not too far froma comfort zone, plus Windows 7 is pretty zippy on it too. The bad part though is that I can't run live discs to test a new linux distro. I can run from a usb, but i need to wipe it every time i want to try a new OS.
Still, I do love my new little Mac. A happy purchase.

Good: Size, Price (for a mac)
Bad: No optical drive
Comment: The lack of an optical drive isn't such a problem nowadays anyway. Apple have done pretty much away with discs and most of the music we buy nowadays is downloaded.

Bad: lack of blu-ray
Comment: I dont understand the reviewer saying you cant use it for playing DVDs/CDs etc. When I bought mine I opted for the SuperDrive which is a USB powered external drive. plays/burns cds/dvds with now issue.
I've wanted one for a while and just gutted I didn't get it sooner. I LOVE IT

Good: good looking
Bad: can't bitstream HD audio
Comment: the lack of the ability to bitstream dts hd master audio and dolby tru hd makes it a very poor home theater media centre. you'll be better off with a windows machine like those from ASRock.
