Typical price: £1,799
What is it: High-end media PC with Blu-ray disc drive
What we think: An excellent media PC that is ideal for users with large amounts of data. It's also surprisingly good value, considering it's Sony's flagship Blu-ray desktop

"Top desktop from Sony"
What I like:
Design and quietness
What I don't like:
Media player says the TV card is malfunctioning
Review:
A few minor design flaws, but all in all a top product. I've had problems with the TV card installed, but the software package is good. I would like to have seen more memory, 2GB perhaps.
I managed to get the system for £799 off play.com - a mistake on their part I think as everywhere else it retails at between £1500-£1800. So I consider I got a bargain. Sold out on play.com in less than 24hrs. So that tells its own story.

Although not much faster than its predecessor, the LED-backlit display and spec tweaks are welcome

Not particularly exciting, but it's cheap and offers a relatively large display for a nettop

Despite some missing features, it's a decent all-rounder, and it looks good for a Dell desktop too
