What is it: Rambunctiously fast gaming PC
What we think: The Aurora is a romper-stomping muscle car of a PC. Flared fenders and aggressive 60s Americana styling make this a nippy deuce coupe. Fellow-gamers won't know what you've got, but they'll sure as hell fear it

We like:
Flamboyant case design which leaves no one in doubt that you're a gamer; swift performance; super-fly Windows UI skinning
We don't like:
Hinged panel in front of the drive bays -- we can't help feeling there's a more elegant way to integrate drives into a chassis
You might also need:
Hardcore gamers will need a serious sound system to complement the ferocity with which the 7500 pumps out polygons. We'd recommend a power amp, big speakers and a sub-woofer
CNET UK judgement:
Serious gamers fall into two categories. The first type is those who enjoy hotwiring together obscure components dug up from graves, adding liquid cooling systems and squeezing the last iota of heat tolerance out of an overclocked P4. The second lot are the ones who buy a gaming PC like they buy a console: pre-configured for max performance. The Aurora 7500 is for them

This Athlon 64 FX-55 system is housed in a metallic-paint case that looks like a 1950s Ford Thunderbird redesigned by HR Giger. It would be next to impossible to pass this off as a work machine, but we dare you to try. Continue Reading...
