Comment: i purchased this model samsung st50 last nov 2009, it good and feel proud of having one...lately this march...as i use it for my child's recognition at school...the pictures on LCD display went white all over...seems like a plain thick cloud on it, no matter i adjust the settings, from smart settings to program settings or the manual one, all of the features of this camera are being reviewed and tested to no avail...sometimes the display have a series of lines vertically accompanied by the white, sometimes a wavy one.....

Good: Brilliant picture and focus

Bad: night mode is rubbish

Comment: its a brilliant little camera but went to egypt last year and the camera let me down at a night party in the desert. wanted to take pics of the belly dancers and desert but the pictures were black!! so aint got any pics of the best part of the holiday.

Good: Great to hold, pictures are fine, features are cool - a great camera!

Bad: Zoom could be better (but then it wouldnt be so slim!), menus are a little complicated

Comment: I got this camera as I'm doing photography at college and its great!

The camera manages to be so slim and great to hold whilst still having great features such as smile shutter, face detection, blink removal and on-camera photo editing.
The only minor cons I have is that the zomm is knida small, but then the camera could'nt be so slim if is was a 5x or something.
