Good: Good, small camera; takes really high quality still pictures.

Bad: Movie Mode is not very useful

Comment: It is not until you read the 143 page manual that it tells you, in a small note, that for movie mode recording, you should use ideally use AC power as the recording requires a full battery. Who carries an inverter around with them?
What's worse is that if you try and take a video with a less than full battery (2 bars out of 3) then it appears to be working as described in the short paper manual but does not record anything apart from a still at the beginning and one at the end. And it doesn't tell you that it is not working.

I own it

Good: Easy to use camera, Picture quality is impressive, Start up speed, Zoom is very impressive

Bad: Proprietary usb cable , Battery pack not AA

Comment: I got this fantastic little camera only yesterday and have been nothing but impressed with the features, quality and all round performance. The auto intelligent mode (a small button on the top right) is brilliant for people more unsure what settings are best and allows the camera to take care of everything. There are also enough features, settings and different modes for people more confident and happy to play around with it, and produces some fantastic quality photos.

The colours are sharp and crisp and the zoom is particularly impressive. The image stabilisation works incredibly well, even when fully zoomed in.

Some users with larger hands may struggle slightly to hold and operate this, as it is on the dinky side, but makes it perfect for carrying around. I'm looking forward to taking this travelling with me to create some fantastic photos for future memories. Definitely the best camera I have ever owned!
