Good: The whole tactile feel, simplicity and phenomenal results .... a joy to use ..
Bad: Battery life can be poor, Leica lense prices are very high although I have found Zeiss lenses extremely good value ...
Comment: Using a range finder is a complete revelation .... so different to DSLR and great for street photography ..... not good for action photos due to the manual focus or macro ... but that would be missing the point .... it is an amazing experience akin I would guess to scuba diving ... not that I have tried it !
If you can give it a try and see for your self ... I purchased a second hand M8 initially and no going back ..

Good: best lenses in the world, no silly automatic stuff to make you miss a shot.
Bad: price
Comment: I own an M8, the precursor to the M9. I learnt photography with a russian Leica copy and took great pix, this is like going back to basics. The real Leica lenses are amazing, and the cheaper Voigtlander lenses are 90% as good for 1/3 price (but don't tell anyone). Most photo fun I've had in years.

Good: image quality
Bad: low light
Comment: i've sold all my other gear (Canon) to shoot exclusively with my M9. It's just a great feeling to shoot old-style, think about every picture and go full manual :)

Good: great image quality. even greater lenses. compact system. manual focus
Bad: pricey, availability is very low for lenses (take months, up to year), manual focus(to someone), iso capability is poor (however dont really need it due to great lenses)
Comment: as of my review, however this costs a bomb.. but once u get it and use it, u wont regret it.. availability is an issue though. 50 asph lens was out of stock everywhere, had to get one from a fren.
