Good: feature rich and very, very capable
Bad: no 'stops' on the rear function wheel
Comment: I've read a hundred reviews. Lived my life seeing Canon machines slung around the necks of all the PROS, and generally imagined MY first canon would be the end all searching for that pin-sharp promise.
Am I the first person on the planet to type an 'Hhhmmm' review about a canon product?
The SX10 IS cannot take a reasonable zoom-shot no matter how much image stabilisation you throw at it. Perhaps 2 out of 10 shots will look OK, but only OK - not WOW.
