Good: It does 90% of everything really well
Bad: Not sure I have a bad point

Good: great quality compact. Viewfinder. Robust. Clear menu
Bad: Pop-up flash
Comment: I spent a couple of hours trying to work out how the pop-up flash worked. Then asked Canon and it appears that you need to take of the hot-shoe protector. With the plastic hot-shoe protector on, the camera thinks you are using an external flash and disables the on-board pop-up flash.

Good: FANTASTIC IMAGE QUALITY FOR CAMERA SIZE
Bad: LENS WILL ONLY GO TO A MINIMUM OF F8
