Good: very clear and vivid pictures
Bad: not suitable for underwater!!!!!
Comment: the first time our d10 got the lens error, we blamed it on my brother who borrowed it, when we bought our SECOND camera and the water STILL got inside.... i think it's already the camera's faulty waterproofing that's got to be blamed! i feel sorry for us for trusting cannon now.

Good: Took good photos for a while
Bad: Unreliable
Comment: Bought one for once in a lifetime holiday to south pacific we were looking forward to lots of underwater pictures but the camera stopped working after just two days (Lens error fault ) I did a bit of internet research when we got home and it seems canon have a problem with the lens error fault in alot of there cameras

Good: Waterproof
Bad: No guarantee
Comment: It is claimed to be waterproof up to 10 meters, freeze proof up to -10 degrees, shockproof when dropped from a height of 1.22 meters and dust proof. But be very careful of the warranty on this product. I contacted Canon support and after being transferred to a supervisor I was told the warranty does not cover water damage, sand/corrosion damage, dropping the camera. I could not believe this so I looked at the warranty card included with the camera and sure enough that's exactly what it says. Canon does not warranty a camera that is designed to go in the water against water damage
