Good: comfort, economy, electronics

Bad: tight driving space

Comment: at 75 mph I get 60mph, my best is 65mph in mixed driving whilst in the first 5000 miles I have 55mph. The car is fully loaded except no electric powered driving seat adjustment.

Good: Virtually everything !

Bad: Low height of front passenger seat makes getting out a bit difficult.

Comment: Have only done 400 miles so far, and all but 14 of these have been in and around town. I chose the top model (I had an RX 450h before) but wanted a car that both my wife and I could drive easily. So far, we both have been absolutely delighted with our decision to buy the CT 200h - it is a true Luxury small car that drives as if it is a much bigger vehicle ! We went for the 16" wheels and the ride is great.

Good: Feels great

Bad: Poor seat adjustment & no cruise contorl

Comment: Reasonable economy, can get 60mpg with extra extra careful driving.
Takes off in sport mode but normally drive in ECO mode. Would have liked the cruise control as previous Golf 2.0TDi had it and Golf had better seat position adjustment. But the finish and gadgets in the basic model are good, my option was BMW 3 EFI and a colleague had one the finish was very plastic not nice at all. Boot space was an issue but removing the floor cover gives enough space for my Labrador.
The drive is different and takes a bit to get used to it, day one got stuck a lights when I pressed the P button and couldn’t work out how to get it going again. Also it strange when you take your foot off the gas and it doesn’t slow like a normal car can be disconcerting when you don’t expect it. Foot brake means can't do hand brake turns in snow.
Overall I like it.

Good: Sport mode acclerates faster then my GSX1300R super bike, easy to use controls, simple navigation input, people cant hear it coming, happily sits at 120 mph, cheap to run and next to nothing on tax

Bad: maybe the boot is a little small

Comment: Had one for about 4 months...... and when my terms up and im offered a new car in another 12 months im really going to struggle to find a car that looks so nice and feels superb to drive. What can i say, im used to BMWs and Audid.... this car is amazing and i would recommend it to anyone

Good: Eco, build quality, level of standard spec. style

Bad: price for the fully equipt car, however BMW and Audi are more for top model

Comment: am bored of the road noise comments and the straight line speed, it is a 1.8 hybrid. If you drive a faster hatch back you dont get the MPG, and as for the road noise, you need to switch the radio on instead of sitting in silence, the car is a winner, you need to experience it in your usual day to day driving as oppose just a test drive. Head and shoulders above the rivals.

Good: Economy, looks (imho), cabin quality, driving experience if you like it uneventful easy and smooth, corners flat

Bad: road noise with the 17" wheels, engine sound if pushed hard, boot space

Comment: Despite what the main reviews say this is a great car, ignore what they have to say, in the real world its a winner, tha brakes arent "wooden" and the stearing is light and easy to live with and its reasonably brisk to 40 mph even in normal mode. Suspension is a bit hard so pothoes do jar a bit. Miles better than other small cars I have driven (inc Audi A3) Dropped from an RX300 which I loved but needed better fuel economy. First full tank returned 54mpg with only a slight change in driving style, currently on 63.5mpg after refilling and done 50 miles. Miss the power and high driving position though. Road noise from the 17" tyres is my only real gripe. Minor niggles are the sun visors dont slide so are useless in the side position and the radio sound is average compared to the RX,

Good: Comfort, drive, economy, looks

Bad: Stereo weakness, fiddly navigation, tricky iPod usage

Comment: Bought it 2 weeks ago and no regrets. Handling is excellent, ECO mode will take to adjust my driving style too, but overall feel of the car is superb. Gaining lots of plaudits from friends/colleagues in its looks. I replaced my BMW 1 series with the CT200h and not disappointed.

Good: It is very comfortable to sit in and drive in processional traffic, the cabin has a luxurious air about it and it is very pleasing on the eye bot inside and out. The economy figures look impressive, although the car I test drove had done 250 and was showing an average of 48mph

Bad: It is amazingly gutless for overtaking, sad a slightly bigger engine would cure that.

Comment: As Above.

Not for me

Good: upmarket feel, different, great BIK costs

Bad: perforance a little sluggish, rear seats cramped

Comment: Took a test drive yesterday in mid spec car with the added sat nav. Although performance not great it wasn't as bad as I had been led to believe by reading some of the reviews, at least not in real world conditions. I drive around 30k miles a year and prefer my driving to be uneventful, the CT really seemed to suit a calm driving style and I got the impression it would be great to live with.
Nice upmarket feel to most of the interior (not sure about some of the switchgear) and satnav & controller intuitive to use. It's a toss up between one of these and approx £170 per month BIK tax or an X3/XC60 and £440 (I like my toys!), didn't think I would be but I'm leaning towards the Lexus but would be top spec with Mark Levinson stereo and adapative cruise.
The dealer had 5 of the colours and would need to choose carefully as none made the car look good (apart from head on view) some made it really slab sided, not a great looker IMO, wheels don't fill arches, too long, back end all over the place but at least it's 'moder,' and I don't usually choose my car on looks.

I own it
