Good: Great on-road, off road and in snow :0)
Bad: The only fault in three years is the drivers seat lowering itself.
Comment: I don't understand why people drive anything else. I have the Black TD4e and it is the perfect vehicle. Comfortable and quiet on continental journeys, extremely capable in snow, not uneconomical, not a silly price to buy and not so big that parking or small village streets are a problem. When my BMW, Mercedes and Audi owning friends are stuck in two millimetres of snow or messing around fitting snow tyres I can not understand why they don't just buy a "capable" vehicle like mine.

Good: Terrific both on and off road
Bad: No apare tyre on low end models
Comment: On my 2nd Freelander2, automatic this time. Got it for the off road capability when I go deer stalking. Never been let down by it and the snow was a doddle.
Amazed that it will exceed 40mpg on a run.

Good: Competent, stylish, comfortable, affordable
Bad: Not a lot
Comment: Great value and really works in bad conditions. Has performed admirably in the worst of Scottish weather for the past 50,000 miles. Feels big and very comfortable, particularly on long journeys. Don't pay more for a larger 4X4 unless you need a status symbol. The least expensive car that I have owned within the last 20 years and the only one I've kept for more than 3 years.

Good: Everything
Bad: Needs more power from the engine. 2.2 litres and only 150bhp
Comment: Excellent car. Not too big. Needs more power tweaking from the engine. 2.2 litres and only 150bhp
