Good: Good price

Bad: Fiddly to hold and operate. Battery life is awful !!!

Comment: My wife and I decided to get a camcorder to capture some footage of our baby which is due soon. I picked this camcorder and my wife got it me for Christmas. I took it on a 4 day skiing trip to France, and found the battery life to be awful. Not sure if the cold affected it or not, but my fried had a Kodak HD camera and that was fine. I got about 6 or 7 minutes of footage over 4 days with 3 or 4 charges as the battery went flat every day. I found the unit fiddly to hold, and on one occasion where I skiid backwards down the mountain filming a friend, I realised at the bottom that it had not been recording. The start/stop button is poor quality, not what you'd expect from Toshiba. So far Pixmania have had my camera back for just over a month with very poor communication, and I have neither a camera, nor my money back, and will probably miss my first child birth. Awful camera, poor service. Steer clear.
