Good: Tiny, using microdrive (or SD card) which creates individual movie files and makes it very easy to import and edit (tip: the .MOD files it creates are actually MPEG files. Just rename the .MOD extension to .MPG and it works perfectly).
Bad: Low light isn't great and the lag in turning it on can be a little frustrating given the battery life
Comment: If you find it cheap (less than £400) like I did, definitely a worthy buy and opens up a whole new amateur creative field.

Good: It's compact and it does what it's supposed to
Bad: Its price is out of this world [but the catch is I got brand new it on eBay for £295!]
Comment: Oooh, you can tell I like this one. I finally got a camcorder to archive my antics and for memory sometime when I'm old [if I'm lucky] and I had to get one that would go the distance and be spot on with technologies and all. I searched and I found this nifty gadget, if you can get it on eBay like me for less than £300 I bet you'll be as happy as I am. It does what it's supposed to nicely and simply no strings attached, plus it's so compact and finely designed.

Good: direct transfer to PC, perfect playback to TV, outstanding zoom, small enough to carry anywhere.
Bad: Needs a second battery,uuummmmm...that's about it
Comment: Only bettered by it's more expensive next model up.
Fantastic product.

Good: Sooo incredibly small
Bad: I just want it
Comment: Can't believe how small this gear is getting, with a device that size you could take it everywhere with you like a cameraphone. Bring it on I say.

Good: Very portable indeed
Bad: Only 60 mins filming at standard compression rates
Comment: This camera is fabulous, especially if what you want it for is fun. Ok, it hasn't got anything fancy like a progressive scan function, but its tiny size makes it almost pocketable. Its quite unobtrusive, so people don't tend to be so self-conscious and coy when you're running around with it. Another big plus is that it's no hassle to transfer your footage directly onto your PC to edit it. The only gripe I've got is you've only got 60 mins on the hard drive at normal compression rates, unless you fork out for an extra microdrive. Other than that - Viva los Everios!

Good: It's smaller than most digital cameras
Bad: the non-standard storage media
Comment: If you like things small, compact and desirable this is your camcorder....
