Typical price: £1,230
What is it: A hard-drive-based 3CCD high-definition camcorder
What we think: For its quadruple-digit price, we expect far better performance and video quality

"I want to like it, but I don't"
What I like:
Great handling and light to carry. For tripod work its great.
What I don't like:
Hand held and moving shots are useless. OIS does not work.
Review:
The review provided by the cnet team is fairly accurate. Having filmed 6 hours of HDD not much is useable as it was shot from boats, buses, trains and planes whilst on holiday.
The bundled software is the worst software bundle I have ever seen it is inadequate in the extreme. They even have the temerity to ask you to spend more to upgrade the software to a full package, why? would a full package of rubbish be better than a half pack?. This camera is to be avoided til JVC show they value theior customers and fix the problems.
