We like:
Affordable HD; simple design
We don't like:
Barebones feature set; some fussy controls; no HDMI
Also known as:
Aiptek A-HD
You might also need:
SD, or better yet SDHC cards
CNET.co.uk judgement:
The Aiptek AHD200 merits its HD sticker by shooting 720p footage, but it won't be winning any filmmaking prizes. The stripped-down feature set at least makes operation easy with this no-frills shooter, for which image quality comes second to supreme affordability

Aiptek AHD200: Pay peanuts, get hi-def monkey
The Aiptek AHD200 is a lightweight 720p camcorder for less than £150. It's light on bells and whistles, but at this price it's perfect for video monkeys who want HD at a knockdown price
