The Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is an excellent 2D camcorder, with a host of useful, creative features -- most of which are lost when you opt to film in 3D. Thankfully, these limitations fail to undermine the novelty of lensing in the third dimension. If you have a 3D TV, it's probably worth the premium. Read more

Our main issue with the HG21, Canon's high-class, high-definition camcorder, is that it may be too good for its own good. Now that should tell you something. The HG21 comes with a whopping 120GB hard drive, a vast array of high-end features and produces video that is absolutely breathtaking. The Sony Handycam HDR-HC3's smaller size and lower cost make it a more reasonable HD video option for many. It's still not an impulse buy, but with excellent HD/SD video quality, a good mix of automatic and manual features and passable still-photo capabilities it is definitely worth the investment Read more
