Sony Ericsson Cedar review
The Cedar is yet another likeable addition to Sony Ericsson's eco-friendly GreenHeart range, offering impressive functionality and attractive aesthetics for an eminently reasonable price. It's just a shame that irksome Web access and occasional social-networking issues spoil the overall impression. Read more

Sony Ericsson Spiro review
At half the price of the Zylo, its Sony Ericsson stablemate, the Spiro makes much more sense -- especially when you take into account the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone socket. If you seek a music-playing phone for less than 50 quid this is definitely worth perusing, although you'll need to forgive the lack of Wi-Fi, unimpressive camera and tiny internal memory. Read more

Sony Ericsson S312 review
The S312 is a budget phone with a shiny screen that will appeal to magpies and narcissists across the land. It's small and lightweight too, as well as offering good call quality and satisfyingly clicky keys. If you don't have much to spend and don't mind having few features, it's worth considering Read more

Sony Ericsson W395 Walkman review
The budget W395 Walkman music phone may not offer a fantastic screen or camera, but it punches above its weight in pretty much every other department. Its music player is excellent, the on-board speakers are great and it offers a decent feature set. At its current pay-as-you-go price, it's a steal Read more

Sony Ericsson W302 Walkman review
The budget Sony Ericsson W302 Walkman music phone compromises on many things -- camera size, video quality and Web browsing, for example -- but, thankfully, not sound quality. Small in size and low in price, it's a good choice if you don't want to get bogged down with features you'll never use Read more

Sony Ericsson K660i review
A potential diamond in the rough, the Sony Ericsson K660i might not be glamorous, but its simplicity could be what you're looking for. It's attractive, in an understated way, and isn't bereft of features -- there's an MP3 player and HSDPA for the Web and video calls. Just don't expect great pics from the camera Read more
